Brandon Sargeant, the current Premier Junior Tour Champion, has won the first event in the new World Snooker Challenge Tour.
Brandon beat former pro Luke Simmonds in the final, signing off with a 139 total clearance, and takes home a cheque for £2000.
This is the first in a 10 event series where the top two at the end of the season will be rewarded with main tour places.
The second event is at the Preston Guild Hall on the weekend of 10-11 July
